Louis Xv Style Double Bed with Gilded Edge Detail.

Description

Lovely carved quarter veneer walnut Louis XV style double bed - pretty curved carved panels with classical shell and foliate carved crest at head. Attractive gilded edge detail brings out and compliments the beautiful colours in the wood. Suitable for standard double mattress 135cm x 190cm /4'6" x 6'3". The bed has been professionally cleaned and waxed to preserve colour and natural patina.

Heigh to top of crest at head board 157cm

Height to top of carving foot board 97.5cm

Side rail height 35.5cm

Overall max width to very outside of headboard curves 157cm

Overall max length 207cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2"platform top or sprung top mini box base. This raises the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with wood slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices; please enquire.

National and international delivery can be arranged.
