Large Sculpture of a Racehorse and Jockey

1900 - 1920
Description

Particularly large sculpture of a racehorse and jockey after Bonheur (1827 - 1901). The piece is probably French and dates from around 1920. The piece is either brass or bronze but has more of a sound like bronze. It is well done, very decorative with a nice patina and colour. The statue is signed Bonheur on the plinth.

Dimensions - 96 cm x 88 cm x 26 cms
