George III walnut knee hole

This George III walnut knee hole was made circa 1760.

The cabinetmaker chose some burr walnut with interesting grain.

The top drawer drops down to reveal the desk interior.

Beneath the fitted long drawer are a bank of drawers each side of the knee-hole cupboard
