The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

Painted number 39 inside the foot rim and group of three impressed marks in the centre. The glaze makes it difficult to read them and you certainly cannot see them clearly in the photograph but likely c.1845-1850.

It measures 23.2cm (9 1/8") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minimal handling wear, just very slight rubbing to the gilt on the rim.
