Description

Small Dutch oak bookbinder’s press and drawers c.1880. Ideal for creating a collection of pressed flowers. Sturdy oak frame with the press board adjusted up and down on a long walnut hardwood screw with a removable grip and brass collar. Four later press boards supplied to allow multiple layers to be pressed at once. Three drawers of graduated height in the base with turned knobs and brass escutcheons. raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Oak sides, drawer linings and back boards. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
