This fine silver plated spirit kettle is marked for maker James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield (1871-1890). The kettle is of a beautiful round form and has three feet for use off the stand. The stand itself is inspired by the Aesthetic Movement and is styled as branches. With a removable burner.

The piece is in very good condition with a slight knock to the handle and a small scratch to one side.
