Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1930s.
. The Norris company was established in 1775 making well made leatherwear and bags. This bag is made from hard wearing thick yet very supple Coach hide which is cowhide tanned with bark and dressed with animal fats in the traditional way. Made to keep out rain and snow and to take the knocks of the old coaching days. Ideal for the stylish modern businessman, the bag easily fits any Macbook, paperwork, books or wallets and locks for a little added security of belongings.

The bag features both of its highly polished solid Brass latching locks working perfectly with key complete with a rigid hinged top spine which closes automatically from its design. This well made and tough bag features comfortable rigid stitched leather handles, double stitched and brass riveted brands and straps for strength with reinforced corners and brass feet to the bottom. Inside the bag is the Norris Luggage branding complete with 2 leather reinforced canvas side organisers. The bag is in fully usable condition with no holes and all of the stitching is in good condition. We have just sympathetically restored this bag by cleaning and polishing all of the brass-work and nourishing the leather to protect it for many more years to come.

Please note; This item is in very good condition for its age but will obviously have the odd slight blemishes and here and there, however, we feel that this adds to the charm and authenticity of the item with it being antique
Also note, items placed inside or around the bag are not included in the sale.
