Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the 1930s.
This George VI serpentine serving table was made in a top cabinetmaker of the period. We sold a similar one that had a Harrods label. This would point to this being retailed there or at another of the top-end showrooms in the day.

It is of serpentine shape and fitted a pair of drawers, each with the original brass ring handles.

The George VI serpentine serving table stands on tapering legs with spade feet.
A serving table of this type adds elegance as well as being a perfect height for caving or just being used as a display table. It of course doesn’t just need to be in a dining area it can only be perfect as a hall table or in the drawing room.

Formerly in a fine country residence in the New Forest that we are now fortunate to offer this to you for sale.
Imagine this serving table adding elegance to your dining area and the pleasure it will give you as you entertain your family and friends.
