A George III Period Satinwood and Kingwood crossbanded Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers, the four full-width graduated drawers with oak linings above a shaped apron and slender, slightly splayed bracket feet

Height: 37”, 94 cms, Width: 37”, 94 cms, Depth:21.5”,55 cms.
Note: Further research has now shown that this chest is attributable to Gillows of Lancaster as Illustrations in "Gillow Furniture Designs 1760 -1800" by Lindsay Boynton Colour Illustration 11 "Commode chest of drawers, satinwood and purplewood ( See Susan Stuart's 2 volumes - Blackie is quoted as saying Purplewood often confounded as Kingwood and Violetta ) with French feet and the characteristic Gillow handles; cf. Fig 118 dated 1789.
7" & 8" correspond as does the height at 3ft 01/2"
