A small and very pretty Sheraton Period Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase, the shaped pediment with a centre tablet and surmounted by three finials above a cross grain frieze and two glazed doors with adjustable shelves behind, the secretaire drawer with a satinwood interior and leather lined fall front, the base with two panelled doors and raised on splayed bracket feet united by a bowed apron. The whole piece is crossbanded in amaranth and has black and white line inlay throughout.
