Description

A fine quality and rare Victorian Period walnut reclining armchair. Of unusual design with a reclining action backrest. The frame in superb quality walnut with finely carved detail and roundels and having acanthus leaf carved arms. Raised on turned walnut feet with brass castors. Also having an engraved brass handle with Victorian registration mark. English circa 1870-1880. In excellent original condition, with the original fabric in good clean usable condition

Dimensions: 36" high x 29" wide x 35" deep (seat height 14")
