Lovely oil on canvas titled 'A Dutch Wife' by Newton Braby, signed and dated '07, (active 1888-1911). A beautifully executed painting of interior scene of Dutch lady polishing copper pan. All in superb un-touched original condition with no repairs or over-painting and in its original carved gilt frame. (label to obverse). Artist exhibited 13 works at RA, 3 at Birmingham Art Soc. 9 at London Salon and 4 at New Gallery. This is a typical example of his works which are highly sought after.
