Description

A fine quality French 19th century bureau plat , or writing table, in the manner of Francois Linke. Excellent construction with kingwood, rosewood and tulipwood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. The top fitted with a sumptuous leather writing surface and completed with a brass surround. Embellished with crisply cast ormolu mounts throughout. With a series of 3 drawers to the front, with dummy drawers to the rear. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard. Now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
