A rare pair of Victorian French style Walnut chairs.
Featuring a spectacularly carved and shaped balloon back. The chairs have a serpentine front rail and fully upholstered seats which finishes to typical carved cabriole carved front legs.
These chairs feature lovely original polish with a lightly faded colour and lots of patina which have been sympathetically restored and carefully waxed in our workshop. These chairs have obviously been looked after and cared for as it is rare to find a pair of chairs in such good condition . These chairs are of a very high quality, are made from all solid Walnut with no loose joints or breaks and are free from woodworm.
The material covering on the chairs is used but in great clean condition from a smoke and pet free home. The material is a contemporary pale turquoise almost grey colour tweed type material finished with studs. The inner traditional padding is in fantastic order and they are very comfortable seating.
