A magnificent original chest of drawers.
This truly superb condition tall chest of drawers features the finest flame grain book-matched Mahogany to all of the drawer fronts and edges. The chest of drawers also has its stunning octagonal Flame-Grain turned pillars either side complete with turned top pediments standing on turned legs. This ornate tall Scottish chest of drawers is in an outstanding original condition featuring its original beautiful lightly faded French polished finish with a lovely sought after mahogany colour. The chest also features fine quality original turned mahogany knobs with mother of pearl inlays to the centre and brass keyhole escutcheons in front of its original locks (no keys). The finely dovetailed Mahogany sided drawers are in fantastic condition, smoothly operating with little to no drawer wear and are very clean inside complete with their original blue paper lining in superb condition. We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this chest, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
