18th Century Oak Mule Chest / Coffer

£550    $687    €659
Outstanding 18th century solid oak mule chest in original untouched condition. It''s wonderful three plank top does show some historical repairs and damage however these only add to its character and charm. Panelled all round with shaped field panels to the front which sit above three short drawers. The interior is spacious and retains it original candle box. There are historic knocks, marks, cracks and scratches as is to be expected an item of it age, however these only add to its appeal as a very functional antique. A perfect addition to the end of your bed for storing extra blanket , pillows etc however with it''s gorgeous rich colour and incredible graining why not show it off in the main room as a coffee table.
