A Good Pair of Silver Plated Serving Tureens by Collis & Co

Description

A good pair of silver plated serving tureens. Marked for maker Collis & Co of Regent Street, London and dating to c1860. Both has solid removable twist handles and are crested to the front. With decorative bead edging and in an oval shape.

The condition is good overall with no splits. The exterior plating is in very good condition with little sign of wear. Some plate wear to the interiors and scratch marks as to be expected due to age and use. A good useable pair.

Total weight approx 2.8kg.

Measures approx 30cm x 22cm.
