This Victorian walnut marquetry centre table was made circa1875.

The circular top with a deep cross-banding edged in sycamore. Inside the cross-banding are segmented sections of walnut running to the centre roundel of fine floral marquetry.

The top sits on the solid walnut carved stem with the 3 walnut cabriole legs, that are deeply carved with leaves to the knees and scrolled toes, then the concealed castors under.

The table tilts and can be displayed with the top up, this makes for a wonderful piece of art.
