A Victorian period, carved rosewood nursing chair, Circa 1860. This chair with carved rosewood show frame, button-down upholstered back and seat, covered in pale sage coloured velvet type fabric. Raised on short carved cabriole front legs and splayed rear legs. On brass and porcelain casters.

This chair measures approximately 91.5 cm (36'') tall, 53.5 cm (21'') wide, and 66 cm (26'') deep. The seat height is approximately 36 cm (14'').
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a reasonably good condition commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Minor marks and blemishes to the frame. The upholstered is structurally reasonable. There are some mark and blemishes to the fabric. Very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
