A Georgian period, in chippendale taste, mahogany framed, carver armchair, Circa 1790. This carver constructed in quality, heavy mahogany, feature a yoke top rail, pierced carved back splat. Open shaped arms. Drop-in seats recently reupholstered in the traditional manner, covered in old hand-dyed leather hide. Moulded front legs, with splayed rear legs, supported by H-strecters.
Good quality period carver armchair, in good condition and ready to use. Would make an idela desk chair.

These chairs measure approximately 101 cm (39.75'') tall, 58 cm (23'') wide, and 53.5 cm (21'') deep. The seat height is approximately 48.5 cm (19'').
