The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, identified as by Buren, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Northern Goldsmiths Co, Newcastle.

The case is gold plated and is the Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific English manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The case has a little unevenness to the back but overall is in good condition.
