Description

Here we see a section of what was once a much larger flatweave or 'julkhyr' made by Lakai-Uzbeks during the last quarter of the nineteenth century. The weaving of the large, powerful Uzbek 'guls' - tribal crests - is extremely fine, but also look closely and you will see each gul is different.

This would make either a very attractive wall-hanging or a throw over a wooden chest or table.

Size: 1.40m x 1.10m (4' 7" x 3' 7").
