A very nice example of a mid 18thc brass flour / spice shaker...also known as a ''dredger''....this one is straight out of the manor house kitchen, confirmed by the number XX111 or twenty three, which just shows how many of these very collectable domestic items were used in a large kitchen...it also has ''double'' line decoration....in excellent condition considering its domestic use...

English. C1760-80.
