Description

A French brass cased striking & repeating carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands and black Roman numerals, 5 minute outer dial markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Push button repeating. Movement backplate numbered 434. A lever escapement. Circa 1890.
