Antique Oak Granddaughter Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

Offered for sale is this very good quality Edwardian oak cased granddaughter clock.

Dating from 1900. It has an oak case with geometric moulded decoration. The slide off hood has a glazed door with barley twist pillars. The dial is brass with gilt spandrels to each corner, roman numerals, 3 keys holes with Tempus Fugit emblem to the top & silent chime lever. It has Westminster chime striking on a each quarter. Trunk door, standing raised plinth base. Has the original pendulum and winding key.

Lovely clean oak case. Great colour and shine. No woodworm. The clock is in good working order. I don't know the last time the clock had a service so it might benefit from one at some stage in order to be prestine.

The clock stands 66" high, 13.5" wide & 9.5" deep.
