Description

Antique Swiss silver pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement with 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1929 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, the Birmingham case maker and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in lovely condition with just light marking, and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp.

The glass lens is in good condition, as is the dial with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes with a later single white metal chain, 26cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The chain is believed to be silver although only stamped 925 on the clasp.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
