Below the door is an ‘Ogee’ cushion moulding over a short plinth with moulded top. The case sides have large apertures with thick bevelled glass and conforming mouldings.... The rear has a large locking, glazed door and the case is mounted upon 4 short block feet.
* The key features of this clock apart from the excellent maker is the very small size and it is also striking.
Dimensions: 10 1/8” high x 7 1/8” wide x 6” deep.
Condition: The movement is reasonably clean and working well with a good action to the escapement however, it would greatly benefit from an overhaul. The dial shows signs of wear that could be rectified with re-silvering. The case is very good and of good colour. Both locks are present and working. There are minor areas of age damage such as to the plinth and the rear door edge. The front of the plinth once bore a small presentation plaque. Generally, the whole clock is totally original including the movement screws.
