A Rare and Beautiful 100 Year Old Antique Oak Dressing Table Chest of Drawers. Made in England during the reign of King George VI in around 1920 to a lovely standard. With a beautiful moulded edge drop centre top with a raised shallow ledge back fitted with trinket drawers. With lovely barley twist supports with fitted swivel bevel mirror. and dropped centre section. The base with two shorts flanking the drop centre top with two long drawers below. The drawer front with drop pull handles and geometric Jacobean revival design. All raised on barley twist supports united by stretchers. Made to wonderful proportions, It would stand proud in any room.

The oak has a wonderful glow and a pleasing patina created over the last 100 years. A wonderful piece of English history that’s bursting with historic charm.

Worth buying even just as an investment or store of wealth. As expected with age some minor wear from use.
