Description

A really fine George IV silver gilt snuff box made in Birmingham in 1826 by John Bettridge. It is in exceptional condition with a full set of hallmarks on the base. The top has a cast scene of pegasus in Greek mythology. The bottom has an engine turned design and the 7 part hinge closes tightly. A stunning box and a great addition to any collection.

WEIGHT; 86 grams or 2.8 ozst approx.
