~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A beautiful and high quality Art Deco clock set featuring two elephants standing beside the clock.
Elephants are well modelled in pewter coloured metal. Two conforming cubist side pieces complete the set.

The dial is of high quality with a heavy gilded bezel with beveled glass enclosing a matted gold dial with Art Deco lettering and blued steel hands.
The French movement is a traditional 'Pendule de Paris' movement with a pendulum and is of high quality. It is by the Parisian maker Silvin and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the marble has a lovely polish, there are some minor nibbles to the marble mostly along the bottom edges and corners. The is a small patch of lost polish to the top of one side piece. The dial is excellent with some re-touching to the lettering and some light marks, mostly between the '7' and '8'. Elephants are also very good with just some light wear to the original finish.
