The watch has a beautiful solid 9ct gold ribbed beehive case.
The dial is in superb condition having been fully restored.
The gold plated calibre 12.68Z 17 jewel manual wind movement, regarded by watch makers as one of the finest and best Longines in house movements made.
It has gilt hands and numbers/baton markers
A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The case is hallmarked.
It comes complete with a new premium quality brown leather strap.
Longines are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
