Following a though Check and Service, the movement is offered in Good Antique Working Order.

The Case is Good and Sound, though as seen in the photos, has the odd repair. Only 78.5in or 199.5cm High. At the Hood it is 50cm wide and 26.5cm deep. At the Base 44.5cm wide and 24cm deep.
As Clockmakers were introduced to the then New Longcase Clock Technology they integrate these with their existing expertise of Lantern Clocks. Subsequently, Lantern Clock Features were dropped and Longcase Clock Movement Construction Evolved into the Generic Designs We Associate Today.

Cases Also Evolved in Many Ways including Moving Away From Hood Columns Forming Part of the Hood and Being Separate Features, with the introduction of other Woods and Styles.
