Ww1 Period Silver Borgel Case Wristwatch

1900 - 1920
Description

An early example of a gentlemans wristwatch with London silver marks for 1918. A quality silver Borgel case with winding crown and 'blip' to change the hands on the case side. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and red marker at 12 position. A jewelled manual wind mechanism.The watch has survived in excellent condition.

The Borgel waterproof cases were often used by the military officers in WW1. It can be changed to a military type leather strap.

Case width 40mm (to crown)
