Description

Superb Pair Antique Victorian Inlaid Rosewood Chairs in the Manner of Chippendale and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality Rosewood each chair has a serpentine shaped top rail with inlaid panel above an entwined and pierced inlaid back splat on serpentine shaped support leading to outsplayed armrests. They have a stuff over seat pad over a serpentine shaped and inlaid skirt. They are raised on ring turned legs on original castors.

EACH CHAIR MEASURES: 33” HIGH X 23” DEEP X 22.5” WIDE & 16” SEAT HEIGHT

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
