William IV Silver Saffron Tea Pot, London 1835

Description

A stunning William IV silver saffron teapot, made in London in 1835 by Charles Gordon. It is of small size for dispensing such a valuable drink. The pot is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It has a full set of crisp hallmarks underneath and a melon finial on the lid, the lid is part hallmarked. A useable and very rare piece of English silver, very collectable. There is no ivory in this item.
