Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch is the Constellation automatic day date with calibre 751 chronometer grade movement, 24 jewels, adjusted to five positions and temperature - as you can see it is in fabulous condition. This was the last of the great inhouse movements made by Omega.
It retains its original dial with day and date with very slight surface patination, it has not been restored or retouched in any way and has a centre seconds hand and baton markers. It has the Constellation observatory symbol embellished on the back of the case which is bright and crisp and also the Omega symbol on the crown.
The 18ct white gold fluted bezel is in remarkable condition.
it has a full length bracelet with all of the links and there is no discernible wear which is very rare to find.
The movement has just been serviced and comes with a 1 year warranty.
The case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The watch case is slightly oversize and measures 36mm in diameter not including the crown.
It clearly has been seldom worn and a superb collectors peice.
Overall this watch is in superb condition and an absolute must for Omega collectors.
The watch has been fully serviced by and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
