A magnificent solid silver religious chalice and its paten.
In very good condition with gold gilt to the interior of the bowl and underside of the paten.
It unscrews into 3 parts
Dating form the 17th/18th century from South America
At this period silver was Unhallmarked, this only started to happen with the arrival of the aRoyal Portuguese court in 1808
