Regency Style Mahogany Twin Pillar Dining Table

1920 - 1940
Description

George V mahogany twin pillar dining table

This solid mahogany twin pillar dining table was made at the start of the 20th century using fine mahogany that was abundant for cabinetmakers to select so to make fine dining tables such as this.

The table square ends with rounded corners, and a further 2 leaves to extend the table. The leaves are supported by a pair of supports that are stored under the table and then slide on runners as the table is pulled open.

A pair of mahogany turned gun barrel columns with the quadruple legs support the table. Each leg is fitted with the wonderful cast brass claw toes with the castors under.

The table can be used with no leaves or using just one or both extra leaves. It makes for a very versatile dining table to suit the sitting you require, as you entertain your family and friends.

The advantage of not having a leg to each corner enables you to entertain more people around it.

Imagine how wonderful this dining table will look in your dining area, and fun you will have as you entertain your family and friends.
