A silver trefid spoon dating from circa 1670 and marked for Exeter, Devon. The bowl of the spoon has a good, clear mark and the reverse shows prick marks "E R" above "I L" under which is the date showing 1670, though the last figure is not entirely clear.

The spoon is 19 cm long with the bowl being 5 cm wide.
