Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Beautiful colour and grain throughout. A particularly lovely pair of antique armchairs. Makers mark stamped on one chair by ‘F Walker, Rockley’.

Item Ref; M-4537
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 91cm / Width – 57.5cm / Depth – 61cm / Seat Height - 44cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the seats, armrests and backrests (pictured), further marks to the legs. One of the armchairs has replacement ‘H’ stretcher supports. There is also evidence of historic woodworm to both chairs (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique ash and elm Windsor chairs remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a lovely example of a pair of Windsor chairs. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.
