Description

Dating to around 1880, this English Victorian Jewellery box is an absolute delight.

The dark cognac brown skin has a wonderful bright and glossy patina which showcases the skin and creates a wonderful backdrop for the nickel and brass handle.

The interior is a joy lined in rich navy blue velvet & silk, incorporating two trays creating three layers. Excellent quality hinges and Bramah lock (alas, no key).

A wonderfully impressive example sure to please, perfect for both a lady or gentleman. Measures 9" x 7" x 5 1/2" tall.
