Antique Oak Chest of Drawers

A well presented 19th century antique oak chest of drawers. The antique oak chest of drawers has a rectangular shaped top with a moulded edge. The 19th century chest of drawers has an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. Raised on bracket feet. Lovely colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the top, sides and front (pictured), also shrinkage to the sides and top (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a well proportioned example.
