Victorian Rosewood Medicine Box.
A superb example of a Victorian full brassbound medicine box.
The box dates back to c.1840, it has a brass handle to the top and a front drawer with two sections to the inside, the front drawer only opens when you open the box. The key is just for show and doesn’t work the lock.
The box has a fully fitted interior complete with six original glass medicine bottles and it’s original leather to the back of the inside lid.
The box measures 22 x 14 and stands 23cm high.
