Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a solid 18ct white gold case surrounded by diamonds and then more diamonds to the beautiful articulated shoulders and the double strand bracelet which are incredibly white, bright and crisp - elegant and very much in the classic Art Deco design.

The case measures 14mm wide excluding the winding crown and the face is small measuring 8mm wide but this is very much an item of jewellery just as much as a time piece, the facet cut sapphire glass gives it that extra sparkle.

There is approximately 4cts of diamonds in total.
It will fit a maximum wrist size of up to 6.25 inches or 16cms.
The calibre 118 longines movement is the smallest they ever made.
It is quite stunning, the case professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.

This watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
Overall this watch is simple stunning and was obviously extremely well cared for, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady especially when worn with that little black dress - very Audrey Hepburn!

T
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
