Good Brass Topped Benares Table C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

A good Northern African 'Benares' style tray topped table. No makers marks, but dating to c1900. The removable brass top stands firmly on a dark wooden foldable base. The brass tray top is engraved with depictions of Egyptian scenes and has a hanging hook to the reverse.

The condition is very good overall with no splits. It stands solidly and has only very minor age related wear as is to be expected.

Tray diameter approx 63cm
