Here is a metal flask with a cork stopper decorated all over with flowers and patterns in rich colours against a black background, executed in an attractive naive style.The bottle is made from metal sheets beaten together, which form a watertight bond.
The bottle stands 27cm tall with its wooden stopper in, and is 17cm wide and 11cm deep.
As displayed in the photographs, the bottle is very much in a ''used'' condition with the knocks and scrapes of well over a hundred years of love and wear, but personally I think this adds to its charm.
