A very smart set of early Victorian flame mahogany library steps, with brass carrying handle, gilt tooled leather inset steps and brass edging, raised on turned legs.
The top step hinges up, and the middle step slides out and the top hinges up - both revealing useful internal storage compartments.
Condition:
Lovely colour and patination throughout, and generally ready to go. The two strips of brass on the sides of the bottom step are missing, possibly deliberately to allow the drawer to slide more freely. Brass handle to the back is later.
