Description

Dating to around 1880, this English Victorian Jewellery box is an absolute delight.

The dark cognac brown skin has a wonderful bright and glossy patina which showcases the skin and creates a wonderful backdrop for the polished brass handle and the brass escutcheon (alas, no key).

The interior is quite elegant with a rich green velvet and silk, and incorporates a removable tray. Excellent condition, some wear to the interior commensurate with age, measuring 10" x 7" x 4".
