Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The 19th century oak desk has an arrangement of six graduating drawers either side of the kneehole, each with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The antique oak desk is raised on eight bun feet. A rather pleasing example, previously acquired by Waring and Gillow in 1903. Makers mark to the inside of the middle drawer.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the top, leather inset and front (pictured), further marks and scratches to the sides and back. The antique oak desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a well presented 19th century desk.
