A near pair of 17th Century Lancashire Chairs of very good colour with flowing botanical carving to the crests and back panels. The Chairs are in good honest original condition with some blacksmith strengthening pieces added to the underneath of one of the seats. There are no replacement parts, the seats are original and the underneath has a wonderful golden untouched surface.
The Chairs are very solid, one is lacking the turned feet to the front but the hight is still good and the pair sit well together.
